On August 11, 2017, the world watched in horror as hundreds of torch-wielding white supremacists descended on Charlottesville, VA, chanting, “Jews will not replace us!” The next day, nearly one year ago, the streets of Charlottesville exploded in deadly violence. Since Charlottesville, white supremacist violence has impacted communities across the country. But the backlash of everyday Americans against their hateful ideology has proven a strong deterrent. Together, America is stronger than hate and our values are stronger than bigotry.
