Congress has just unanimously approved a strong post-Charlottesville Resolution condemning white supremacy. Now we are asking President Trump to sign this resolution, which honors the victims of Charlottesville and acknowledges the violence as an act of domestic terrorism. The Resolution ask the Trump Administration to speak out against hate groups, improve hate crime reporting, and “use all available resources to address the threats posed by those groups.”
Add your name today alongside the votes of the Senate and House and tell President Trump to condemn white supremacy as a real, and rising, domestic terrorist threat and to commit to using the power of his office to fight it and keep Americans safe.
We, the undersigned, join the House and the Senate in calling on the Trump Administration to speak out against hate groups, improve hate crime reporting, and use all available resources to address the threats posed by white supremacist terrorist groups.
President Trump must reject white nationalists, white supremacists, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis and other hate groups and commit to fulfilling his obligation as President of the United States to speak out against hatred and bigotry and keep Americans safe from extremism and terror at home and abroad.
We support the House and Senate action on this Resolution and we call on the President of the United States to sign the resolution and faithfully carry out its commitments.
